My career with Macomb County began in February of 2014 as a typist clerk for Community Mental Health, where I assisted with various clerical responsibilities. In July of 2018 I transitioned to Human Resources and Labor Relations as an account clerk III, where I worked with the pre-employment team and assisted in the onboarding of new team members to Macomb County. In my current position as a retirement assistant, I help team members prepare for the next stage of their life. Prior to joining Macomb County I spent more than 20 years in medical offices. I handled many detailed tasks related to medical records, billing and medical insurance authorizations. Employment at Macomb County helps me refine my skill set and provides me with opportunities for career advancement.
