I began my career with Macomb County in September 2005 as a human resources technician in the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department. At that time, I was primarily responsible for recruitment of candidates, orientation and some work in employee relations. In January 2009, I received the opportunity to work for the Macomb St. Clair Employment and Training Agency as a case manager for the No Worker Left Behind Program. I had the unique opportunity to help many unemployed individuals pursue training to increase their skills and return back to the workforce. In May 2011, I was welcomed back to the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department as a human resources consultant. I provided strategic solutions and guidance on a variety of human resources related matters for various County departments. In February 2021, I moved to my current role of benefits administrator.
Macomb County has provided me many opportunities during my career and I have appreciated the ability to grow my career during my time with the County. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to learn about all the valuable programs and services our county provides to the residents of Macomb County. I also take pride in serving the county in which I live, work and play.
