The Fall season is officially upon us! Now that Halloween is just around the corner, there is an influx of various events across the county, including festivals, parties, and multiple Trunk-or-Treats.
Blake’s Big Apple will have their own haunted attractions that will consist of haunted hayrides, barns and zombie paintball. You can also try out their Spookyland, which has even more holiday-themed adventures.
The Halloween adventures continue during Center Line’s Halloween Town on October 15. Those coming to the event can expect donuts and cider, free pumpkins for the kids, Trunk-or-Treat and more!
In continuing to embrace the more spookier side of the season, Terror on Tillson is a must-see. For those who don’t know, Tillson is a street in Romeo that takes Halloween to the extreme. Multiple residents in the community adorn their houses with elaborate and creative holiday decorations. Every year, they bring in tons of foot traffic from all over the area, especially the week of Halloween, when most of their preparations have been completed. Not only is Terror on Tillson fun to experience, but it also showcases the camaraderie and support the people of Romeo have for one another. This is an experience you don’t want to miss!
Romeo’s holiday events have all been added under one banner this year, and Terror on Tillson is just one amazing part of it. Speaking of wagon rides, Stony Creek Metropark is offering their annual Fall Wagon Tours, every weekend starting October 15 thru October 30. Visit their calendar for more details.
Over at Lake St. Clair Metropark is the HallowPalooza event on October 15, where there will be Trunk-or-Treating, hayrides, crafts and other Halloween activities. At dusk, Hocus Pocus will be played on the big drive-in screen.
A few communities North of there, New Baltimore’s Historical Society will once again host their Spooky Tours at the Grand Pacific House Museum. Starting October 21, the tours will take place on Friday and Saturday of that week, as well as the week after. Those who attend will be guided on a tour through the haunted hotel, and witness spooky props and real-life antiques as volunteers narrate the scary stories behind each scene. Tickets are limited, so don’t forget to order them when you can!
Lastly, Scarefest Scream Park has returned to Lenox Township. As you can probably guess by the name, this place will no doubt elicit horrified screams from you and your friends, and acts as the perfect haunt to test your courage. From their Forest of Darkness to their Hayride of Doom, you don’t want to miss out on this whirlwind of terror during the holiday season.
