Macomb County events to attend on the last days of summer

August is coming to a close, but don’t grab the backpacks just yet. There’s still more fun to be had before the summer season is over …

 

Shelby Township Art Fair (Shelby Township)

This 39th annual art fair is being held on August 13 and 14 at Riverbends Park. The artistic talents of Michigan vendors will be put on display, with food, live entertainment and other fun activities available as well!

Armada Fair (Armada Township)

The fair is rolling back into town again this August 15-21. It will be their 150th celebration, complete with shows and demonstrations, carnival fun, band performances, demolition derby and more! Access the complete 7-day schedule here

The gates will open every day at 8 a.m. and refreshments will be available at noon. For more information on activities, tickets and parking, visit their website.

Assumption Greek Fest (St. Clair Shores)

GreekFest is back! Come join the party at Assumption Orthodox Church from August 18-21. There will be Greek food, music, dancing and other activities to partake in.

Warren Birthday Bash (Warren)

The Warren Birthday Bash returns this August 25-27 at the Civic Center! Expect tons of fun activities for attendees to enjoy, including live music, a carnival, food trucks, a beer tent and fireworks!

Slovak Parish Festival (Sterling Heights)

This event will take place August 26-28 at the SS. Cyril and Methodius Parish. Come to enjoy live entertainment, food, raffles and other fun activities!

Blake’s Cider Dayze Festival (Armada Township)

The 7th annual Cider Dayze Festival will be held August 27 and 28. The event is expected to feature about 50+ wineries, breweries and cideries, along with fun activities like corn hole, silent disco, and more. Food trucks will also be there!

Romeo's Peach Festival (Romeo)

This Labor Day weekend tradition is coming back to Romeo September 1-5! The festival will span across the Romeo-Washington-Bruce area, and will feature food trucks, shows, parades, carnival rides and other fun activities.
