Macomb County Adopt-A-County Road canceled due to COVID-19

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – The Macomb County Department of Roads (MCDR) has announced the cancellation of the spring Adopt-A-County Road cleanup scheduled for April 18-26 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“We are taking all necessary precautions to keep the public and our employees safe due to COVID-19,” said MCDR director Bryan Santo. “We are following the recommendations of county, state and federal health officials to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19.”

The Adopt-A-County-Road program is expected to resume for the summer clean-up scheduled for July 18-26.
