42-1 Amnesty Program
The 42-1 District Court in Romeo, MI will provide an opportunity for a fresh start for drivers with unpaid tickets in its jurisdiction.

Magistrate Jennifer Andary of the 42-1 District Court has announced an initiative to provide the public she serves with a fresh start by waiving all late fees on outstanding traffic tickets in their jurisdiction.
Under this policy the principal fine on civil infraction traffic tickets will be paid but all additional late fees will be waived from Monday, December 2nd through Friday, January 3rd.
“This is an opportunity for everybody to win,” said Magistrate Jennifer Andary. “Not only will the public have late fees and penalties waived if they pay their tickets, but the Court will be able to close out old cases and outstanding receivables.”
All payments must be made in full in the form of cash, certified check, money order or credit card.
“This is a bona-fide incentive to clear up these matters,” said Magistrate Andary. “However, for those that have had their license suspended by the Secretary of State, there is still a non-waivable fee of $45.00 to the State which must be paid,” Magistrate Andary added.
The 42-1 District Court includes the villages of Romeo and Armada, the cities of Memphis and Richmond, and the townships of Washington, Bruce, Armada, Ray and Richmond.
