Looking for farm fresh turkeys for this Thanksgiving? Well, you won’t have to search too far, because there are tons of places in Macomb County to find your main holiday dish!
Our first recommendation is Hefling’s Amish Farm Market located in Clinton Township. This local and family-owned business has been a part of the community since 1952. Starting in the 1980s, Hefling’s mission became supplying their customers with superb all-natural meats and produce. This Thanksgiving, they’re offering farm raised and non-gmo turkeys, which contain no artificial ingredients or preservatives. They’re only available by special order so don’t miss the chance to call and place your order at the telephone number on their website.
Nitsches Meats & Deli is another establishment that sells natural turkeys. Located in Shelby Township, Amish turkeys are farm-raised, without preservatives or other chemicals, and are being sold at $4.29 a pound. You can reserve one here!

Another market you’ll want to order your main Thanksgiving entree from is Weeks’ Meat Market in Richmond. You can call the number on their website to place an order today.
Further south is Biondo’s Meat Market, located in Warren. Open since 1978, this market sells a variety of different meats, all at an affordable price. Beyond their chops and breasts, they also offer fresh Amish turkeys.
Weiss’s Meats & Deli in Chesterfield carries all natural poultry as well. The processor for their whole Amish turkeys is Peacock’s Poultry Farms which is located in Troy, Michigan. Lastly, we recommend RC Organic Farms in Lenox, Michigan. It has been a staple of northern Macomb County for years, with the farm in its current location since 1945. RC Organic Farms is also a solar powered certified organic farm, showcasing their devotion to a natural ecosystem. For Thanksgiving, they sell fresh pasture raised organic turkeys for $5.99 a pound. Unfortunately, these turkeys are only available in November, but you can pre-order one now with a minimum deposit of $50!
