Mount Clemens, MI – The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is proud to announce new recruiting efforts to fill staff shortages.
The MCSO recently shared on social media that they are now accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff Recruits. Individuals that are accepted will receive a free Police Academy sponsorship. They will also earn $25 an hour (approximately 40 hours a week, for 18 weeks) while attending the Academy. Upon successful completion of the Academy, recruits will be promoted to a full-time Road Patrol Deputy.
Eligible applicants should be 18 of age, have a high school diploma or GED, and be a United State Citizen. They also must meet Police Academy entry standards.
Limited positions are available, and applicants must be able to start December 8, 2023.
