Mount Clemens, MI – November 3, 2023, at approximately 6:20PM, Macomb County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) was dispatched to the 100 block of Cass Ave for a stabbing incident. The caller, the 53-year-old male victim, reported being stabbed by Mark Wallace, a 60-year-old male from Mount Clemens.
Wallace was allegedly using a grill in the common area of the apartment complex when the victim arrived. The two individuals engaged in a heated discussion. Wallace stabbed the victim twice. The suspect also punctured the tire of the victim’s moped. A pocketknife was recovered in Wallace’s apartment.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was lodged at the Macomb County Jail. He was arraigned on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder and Malicious Destruction of Property. He was given a bond of $50,000, no 10%, cash/surety.
