Warren Man Guilty of Child Abuse for Severely Injuring His Five Week Old Daughter

A Macomb County jury convicted 26-year-old Matthew Siladke on Child Abuse in the First Degree (life felony) today after a six -week jury trial by Assistant Prosecutors Colleen Worden and Lisa Lozen.

Warren Man Guilty of Child Abuse for Severely Injuring His Five Week Old Daughter

Mount Clemens, MI - A Macomb County jury convicted 26-year-old Matthew Siladke on Child Abuse in the First Degree (life felony) today after a six -week jury trial by Assistant Prosecutors Colleen Worden and Lisa Lozen.

On multiple dates in July 2021, Matthew Siladke injured his five week old baby girl causing multiple injuries including a biparietal skull fracture, over 20 rib fractures, a displaced femur fracture, neck injuries and brain injuries.  

A Sentencing Hearing is scheduled for July 23, 2024 at 9:00am by Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Julie Gatti.

“We stand firm against the abuse of children, ensuring that those who inflict harm upon the innocent face the consequences of their actions,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
