Macomb County Health Department hosting a two-part infant safe sleep event

The Macomb County Health Department is hosting a FREE 2-Part Infant Safe Sleep Event for anyone who is pregnant, or a parent or caregiver of an infant under the age of 1. Part 1 of the 2-part series is a virtual workshop that will focus on best safe sleep practices, breastfeeding safely and reducing infant mortality in Macomb County. Part 2 is an in-person event for Part 1 participants to receive gift bags, win raffle prizes, and talk to vendors about community resources.

“This is a great opportunity to get access to valuable information and educational resources that can help reduce some of the uncertainty that comes along with a new baby,” said Cheryl Woods, Division Director of Family Health Services at the Macomb County Health Department. “We encourage anyone who is pregnant, or a parent or caregiver of an infant under the age of 1 to take advantage of this no-cost opportunity.”
