Press Release

The Macomb County Health Department along with the Baby Resource Network of Macomb is hosting a FREE Infant Safety Expo for all Macomb County parents and caregivers who have a baby under 1 year of age, as well as pregnant people. The event is scheduled for 12 noon – 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18 at the Roseville Eastpointe Recreation Center located at 18185 Sycamore Street in Roseville.

The Infant Safety Expo will provide opportunities for attendees to learn important information on safe sleep, CPR/choking prevention, breastfeeding and more. In addition, attendees will receive a free gift as well as opportunities to participate in a raffle for additional prizes. Local vendors will also be on-hand to provide additional educational opportunities.

“This is a great opportunity to get access to valuable information and educational resources that can help reduce some of the uncertainty that comes along with a new baby,” said Cheryl Woods, Division Director of Family Health Services at the Macomb County Health Department. “We encourage anyone who is pregnant, or a parent or caregiver of an infant under the age of 1 to take advantage of this no-cost opportunity.”
